Hotel Cappello Cesena

A single bed, a very small bathroom whose tiles were scratched, the shower was on the same floor as the rest of the bathroom, 50 euros for one night which are justified only by the location, very central, i could hear every voice of anyone in the main square. However, Cesena is very quiet and the host kept my luggage for the whole day, they saved my day

I booked 2 nights on a double room at the Albergo Cappello Cesena. They only accept pre-paid rooms and I fully pre-paid everything for 2 nights. This used to be my default place for me when i'm visiting cesena for work that in this season is once a week. The morning of my arrival they contact me telling me that the room was not available the first night due to a technical problem and therefore they had booked me to another hotel n the city that was supposedly nearby. I initially said fine, then i went to check the new pad for the night and i discovered that the new landing pad was NOT in the city center but outside of it. And while Cesena is a small town restaurants and any other service open at night are in the city center. The Albergo cappello left me with no choice other than swallow their new conditions or waste my money and pay double. The new place was ok, nothing to write home about but in contrast with the Albergo Cappello is out of the city centre and has No, ZERO, convenience. At night i had to walk 20 minutes each way in he cold to find food. I find their way of doing business, they advertise something and give you something else. Also They did not offer any compensation or apology. My suggestion is drop this one there is no way you can. know what you are getting for your money!

Considering this hotel has new owners, it is very good. Customer service is everything to myself and my family, and the service here was exceptional. You do have everything you need in the room but the one we stayed in does need a bit of a refurbish. However, it was kept clean throughout our stay. The food in the restaurant is amazing and hard to believe that vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters can all eat together with choice and quality. We will be going back - thank you to all the lovely staff, we were very sad to leave and they made our stay in Cesena special. That is why 5 stars
